Description

The Old Salt House is a building from the 18th century located on Norway Lane. It is constructed of stone rubble, with some areas hung with slate, and is a single storey in height. The roof is covered with slurried slate. Notable features include a large multipane window and a recessed entrance on the side, which has steps leading up to a six-panel door. There is a half gable with a chimney on the left side, and an end wall features a sash window with glazing bars. The Old Salt House is part of a group that includes Dragon Studio and No 3 Porthmeor Square.
