Description

This house, located at 14 Carncrows Street, dates from around 1840. It is constructed from granite rubble and features large granite quoins and lintels. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has overhanging eaves. The building has a double-depth plan with a central entrance.

The exterior consists of two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-bay front facing east. It has four-pane sash windows and a central doorway that includes a rectangular overlight and a late 20th-century door. On the south side, there are additional four-pane sash windows and external stairs leading to a glazed door on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
