Description
Brewery House is a Regency Gothic villa built around 1820-1830. It features lined-out render and a slate roof that is hidden behind a high embattled gable, which spans the entire facade and is adorned with square ashlar turrets at the corners. The building has two storeys and attics, with 2- and 3-light casement windows set in moulded mullions and surrounds, all topped with dripmoulds. The central pointed doorway has a moulded surround and a Gothic panelled door with lattice glazing in the upper section. There is a verandah in front of the ground floor. To the left, there is a later 19th-century projecting square bay made of ashlar with an embattled parapet, featuring 2-light casement windows under dripmoulds on the ground floor. At the far left, there is a set-back service wing with glazing bar sash windows. Inside, the main room includes Gothic panelled doors, shutters, and window embrasures.
