Description
The Priory is a detached villa built around 1830-40 in the Tudor Gothic style. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof and features octagonal ashlar chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high, with attics in gabled dormers that have kneelers. It has three bays, with the right-hand bay projecting as a gabled cross wing. The windows are paired sash windows with moulded mullions, surrounds, and dripmoulds. A square bay window is located on the left side. The main entrance is a plank door set within a chamfered surround with a four-centred arch. A projecting porch on the east side includes an oriel window and a door under a hoodmould.
