Description
Manor Farmhouse and the adjoining annexe to the left are a farmhouse and annexe dating from the mid-17th century. They are constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and feature a double Roman tiled roof. The building has ashlar stacks, which are paired and diagonal on the west gable and the south gable of the annexe. The structure is three storeys high and consists of three bays. The ground floor has mid-19th century paired four-pane sash windows, while the upper floors are fitted with two- and three-light casement windows that have ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. The central entrance features a panelled door set within an ogee-step-ovolo moulded surround, and there is a 20th-century gabled porch.
To the left, a two-storey, single-bay annexe projects from the main building. It has a coped parapet and a three-light casement window with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, complete with a drip mould and relieving arch. Inside, the ground floor room on the east side of the main house has a notable ashlar fireplace with fluted pilasters and a heavily moulded surround, featuring a four-centred head and leaf carving on the spandrels, along with a heavily moulded cornice that has a projecting, corbelled centre. The ground floor left room and the first-floor room of the annexe also contain ashlar fireplaces with four-centred heads and ogee-ovolo moulded surrounds.
