Description

The monument to the Veysey family is a chest tomb located in the churchyard to the west of St. James' Church in South Stoke. The earliest date on the tomb is for James, who passed away in 1793. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features fielded side panels, fluted pilasters, and a frieze, along with a moulded plinth and cornice.
