Description

No. 43 North Street is a late 18th century or circa 1800 building that stands two storeys high. It features a mansard roof, with all pitches covered in old tiles except for the upper rear, which is slated. The building has gable chimneys. The rear is constructed of flint with brick quoins, while the front has been significantly modified, likely in the early 20th century. On the front, there are two-storeyed bow windows with imitation timbering at the gable heads, flanking a central doorway that has a possibly mid-19th century straight hood above, supported by classical brackets.
