Description

Green Man Cottage is a late 16th century timber-framed cottage, substantially restored and refaced. The ground floor is brick, set on an ashlar base, while the first floor is tile-hung. One gable end is faced with imitation timbering and rough-cast infilling, and the roof is tiled. Casement windows are present. The cottage has two storeys and one window. The west wall is faced with rough-cast. This building demonstrates group value from the period.
