Description

Pigwidgen Cottage and Spotted Cow Cottage form one building. Pigwidgen Cottage is a 15th-century timber-framed Wealden cottage, with plaster infilling between the timber. The first floor of each end oversails, and the central section is recessed. Spotted Cow Cottage is a later addition. Its east end is 17th-century and timber-framed, while the west end dates to the 18th century and features painted brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The entire building has a tiled roof and casement windows. It is two storeys high and has five windows.
