Description

The Stables behind No 8 is a building dating from the early 19th century, originally serving as the stables for the Lamb Inn. It is designed in a half H-shaped block and features two storeys with five windows in the centre. The structure is made of brown brick, with the first floor painted, and has a slate roof. The projecting wings, which are now used as garages, originally housed the coach-houses and are faced with weather-boarding, complete with gables above. The vertical glazing bars remain intact, and there is an iron pump located in the centre of the ground floor.
