Description
The Engine House at Horsted Keynes Railway Station was built around 1882 for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, designed by architect T W Myres. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof along with an external brick chimney on the south side. The southern end of the building is lower and has a series of round-headed windows. The northern end is taller, consisting of two bays with round-headed windows set within large recessed panels, and includes an end panel with a round-headed entrance. The building is now part of the Bluebell Railway.
