Description

Chequered Oak House is a 16th-century timber-framed cottage situated in Rowhook. Originally part of Stringersland Farmhouse, its address has been amended to Rowhook. The cottage is two storeys high and originally had two windows. In the 19th century, a bay with a gable was added to the west end. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. It features casement windows.
