Description
King's Barn Farmhouse is a T-shaped building from the 17th century or earlier, primarily constructed with timber framing, although most of it has been refaced with roughcast. Some of the original timber framing is still visible in the half-hipped gable end on the north side. The east wing is built from stone rubble with red brick quoins. The north-south wing consists of two sections, with the southern section being at a higher elevation than the northern section, which features a datestone from 1647. The entire building has a Horsham slab roof. It has casement windows, with the west wing displaying original brick mullions that are coated with cement. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four windows.
