Description

Plaistow Place is a 16th century timber-framed house with a plastered front that has been restored and enlarged. It features a Horsham slab roof and casement windows. The house is two storeys high and has four windows. The north front displays three gables and one bay on both floors, with windows that have two tiers of eight lights, stone mullions, and diamond-shaped panes. The south wall includes a crow-stepped chimney breast. There are 19th century additions to the south-east. Inside, the house boasts 16th century panelling and an elaborate plaster ceiling in the kitchen.
