Description

The granary at Loxwood Place Farm is a mid-18th century structure. It features a timber frame covered in weatherboarding, supported by red brick piers with circular stones above. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, and the building consists of three by four bays. At one end, there are wooden steps leading to a plank door, which was refurbished in the 20th century but still has its original pintle hinges. The opposite end has a casement window inserted into the gable. Inside, the granary has a queen post roof with through purlins and an inserted ridgepiece, along with boarded walls.
