Description
Barnwyke House, Dutchmans Cottage, and Trimmers House is a Grade II listed building originally constructed as one house in the 18th century. It is two storeys high and features five bays, with a red brick façade and a cornice adorned with modillions. In the 19th century, a two-storey porch was added to the central bay, which includes a large castellated parapet and an ogee-headed window on the first floor. On either side of the porch, there are large sash windows set in shallow reveals with flat arches, and the glazing bars are intact. The ground floor windows have painted voussoirs, while the upper windows are topped with wooden lintels. The flat-arched doorway is framed with fluted details and features a six-panel moulded door within the reveals. Additionally, there is a large bow window on the north front.
