Description

The Crown Inn is a 18th century building with a plastered front that likely covers an earlier structure. It has two storeys and features four window bays, with three-light casement windows, except for two small two-light windows located below the roof. The roof is tiled. There is a two-storey shed adjoining to the south, which has one window bay and a steeply pitched tiled roof facing east, along with a shed below and one window bay facing north. A modern red brick addition is present at the rear. The building has probably served as an ale-house since the 17th century.
