Description

Smuggler's Cottage is a 16th-century timber-framed building. The north wall displays exposed timbering with painted brick infilling, but it has been partly refaced with flints and red brick dressings. The cottage also features quoins and a stringcourse. It has a half-hipped tiled roof and casement windows. A later gabled porch has been added. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows.
