Description
St Wilfred's Chapel is the only remaining part of the original parish church, which dates back to the 13th century. The rest of the church was demolished in 1865, and its materials were used to construct the current parish church of St Peter's on the High Street in Selsey. The chapel is roughcast over stone and features a tiled roof. Inside, there is a monument to John Lewis and his wife, who died in 1537, which includes kneeling figures surrounded by scenes illustrating the martyrdom of St Agnes and St George.
