Description

Amblehurst is a house dating from the 17th century or possibly earlier. It was originally timber-framed and has since been refaced with plaster and some stone, all now painted. The rear elevation is of red brick and tile-hanging. A gable is located at the south end of the front facade. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. The windows are casement types. A 19th-century gabled porch has been added. The house is two storeys in height and has three windows facing the front.
