Description

Philpotts Cottages, located on North Bersted Street, is a single building dating from the 18th century or earlier. It stands two storeys high and features four windows. The exterior is constructed from flints and Bognor stone rubble, with brick dressings and quoins, all of which were once painted. The building has a hipped thatched roof and casement windows, some of which have brick hoodmoulds. There is a round-headed brick doorway also with a hoodmould, and cross-shaped iron ties are present in the structure.
