Description

Friars Oak and Little Box Cottage are two cottages dating from the 18th century or earlier. They are built of painted brick and have a thatched roof with a scalloped ridge and three ridge stacks. The cottages are under a single roof and have two storeys, with seven casement windows, the first floor windows set in eyebrow dormers. The interior has not been inspected. The cottages are designated for their architectural interest as a good example of an 18th-century vernacular cottage retaining its thatched roof.
