Description
The Herm, located approximately 86 meters north of Rousham Park and at the northwest corner of the Bowling Green, dates from around 1733 to 1740. It is constructed from limestone and features a carved head depicting Athene wearing a helmet. This structure is part of the landscape gardens designed by William Kent during the same period. Rousham Park, where the Herm is situated, is recognized in the Historic England Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
