Description

The ha-ha, built around 1733 to 1740, is a coursed limestone rubble wall with stone coping. It runs between Rousham House and the lodge adjoining the Palladian gateway. This feature defines the landscape gardens that were designed by William Kent during the same period. Rousham Park is recognized in the Historic England Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
