Description

No 52 on Hart Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a rounded corner facing the Thames. The facade is made of stucco, with a rusticated ground floor and a decorative band above. It has three storeys and four windows, which are sash windows with glazing bars, while there is a blank area above the door. The central doorway is recessed and has an archivolt with panelled reveals. No 52, along with the Angel Hotel, forms a group with St Mary’s Church, The Red Lion Hotel and Stables, and No 18 Thameside, marking the entrance into the town near Henley Bridge.
