Description
These are a row of six houses, numbers 50 to 54, built in the earlier or middle of the 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with grey brick detailing. The roofs are slate-covered, and the houses are two storeys high with dormer windows. Each house features a single window, with unbarred sash windows having segmental heads above them. The front doors are round-arched, with plastered panels above, and the door of number 54 has a later, round-arched porch added.
Numbers 50 to 54, together with the even-numbered houses from number 2 to 76, along with associated walls, railings, gates, and gate posts, form a group with Holy Trinity Church and the odd-numbered houses from 29 to 33 on Church Street. The garden wall of number 2 also contributes to a group on Church Street.
