Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1798, is located approximately 1 meter south of the Church of St. Mary in Ewelme. It is made of stone and has a rectangular shape, featuring two panels on each side. The end of the tomb is adorned with a carved panel that includes a rectangular inscribed area surrounded by a wreathed design, topped with a winged head. The tomb has a flat top with a moulded edge.
