Description
This is a house of Dutch Revival style, dating to 1903 and designed by Edward W Allfrey. It is constructed of red brick with white painted woodwork. The house is three storeys high with an attic, and has a five-bay front; the fourth bay from the left projects to form a porch. The porch has an ashlar surround and a hood moulding above the door. Above the porch is a two-storey bay window with small-paned casement windows. The remaining windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and some have small-paned casements. A three-storey canted bay window extends from the south side of the house. The eaves are detailed with a timber modillion cornice. The roof is tiled with gable ends featuring kneelers and ball finials. Dormers and brick stacks are present.
