Description
14 St Andrews Road is a house that may have originally been built in the 17th century. It is two stories tall and constructed from coursed rubble, with cellars, a stone band at the first floor, two brick stacks, and three gabled attic dormers beneath a modern tile roof. The ground floor features an 18th to 19th century front doorway, which has a fluted frieze, three paterae, and a pediment. There are also three 18th century style sash windows in partly renewed stone reveals, two of which have shutters. On the first floor, there are four 18th century style sash windows in plain reveals. The dormers contain two-light leaded casement windows in partly ancient wood frames. The house is part of a group that includes Nos. 10 to 16 (even).
