Description

Nos 9 to 12 on Longwall Street are a group of buildings likely dating from the late 17th century at their core, with alterations made in the mid-18th century. They are three stories high and feature a roughcast exterior with a continuous moulded wood cornice at the first floor. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there are brick stacks. The windows are from the 18th century, with those on the ground floor having shutters and those on the first floor featuring iron window-box balconies. The front doorways have moulded reeded wood frames with rectangular fanlights. Inside No 12, there is some reset 17th-century panelling. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 14, form a cohesive group.
