Description
Walton House, part of Somerville College, was built by Alderman Thomas Ensworth around 1826. The building was enlarged with a new wing on the southeast in 1881, designed by Sir Thomas Jackson. In 1895, an extension was added to the northeast by Walter Lane, and the original house was altered during this time.
