Description
This former oasthouse, now used as stables, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a peg-tile roof. The building is relatively small, with low stowage situated on a rough east-west axis. At the west end, there are two circular plan hop kilns, one of which extends northwards and has a small hut-like extension at the angle between it and the stowage. The building includes various 19th and 20th century casement windows, most of which have glazing bars. The stowage has a hipped roof, while the hop kilns are topped with low conical roofs that have louvred box-like vents at their apexes.
