Description

This is an early 19th century former Methodist Chapel. It is a stuccoed building with a classical front and Gothic (Perpendicular) windows, and includes a basement. The building is two storeys high and features pilasters at the ends and flanking the windows, as well as a stringcourse above the ground floor. The upper floor has obtusely pointed, Perpendicular style windows, while the ground floor windows are square-headed. There are two porches with clustered columns, each topped with a rectangular fanlight containing three cinquefoil-headed lights. The entrances have six-panel moulded double doors, and the front is protected by spear railings with urn finials. The chapel is part of a group with numbers 4 to 6 (consec), the former Holy Trinity Hall, and numbers 12 to 16A (consec).
