Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of houses, numbers 106 to 116, located on the east side of Grosvenor Place. Numbers 112 and 114 have been altered in the late 19th century. The terrace is two storeys high with basements, and is constructed of stock brick. Number 112 has been extended upwards with an additional storey and is now pebble dashed. All the houses have stone coping. Each house originally had one sash window, but number 114 now features a later Victorian three-light canted bay window spanning two floors. Numbers 106, 114, and 116 have later Victorian doors with applied tracery, while the others have simple round-headed doorcases. Area railings with urn finials are present. Numbers 106 to 128 (even numbers) are designated as a group of architectural and historic significance.
