Description

Illogan is a former cottage known as Rose Cottage, dating from the early to mid-16th century. It is two storeys high and has a rendered exterior with a hipped tile roof. The building features four Victorian casement windows with Gothick glazing and a band at the first-floor cills. There is a fire plaque and a trellis porch leading to the door. Inside, the cottage has a side purlin roof, an original chimney, and an inglenook fireplace. The rear of the building displays exposed square framing in the lean-to section.
