Description

This is a two-storey, four-window house or shop, built in 1858, but designed in a Georgian style. The building is constructed of buff brick with a slate roof. It has 16-pane sash windows set within moulded architraves. A doorcase is positioned centrally, featuring pilasters, a projecting cornice, and panelled reveals, with a six-panelled door, the top two panels glazed. Contemporary shop windows, no longer in use, are located at the south end, with a wide fascia supported by four brackets, an original eight-pane shopfront, and a six-panelled door. The roof is hipped and features two buff brick chimney stacks. The building is included on the list for its group value.
