Description

The Homestead, also known as Home Cottage, is an 18th-century building with 19th-century additions. It is two storeys high, with a symmetrical facade of four windows. The roof is tiled, with a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The front is painted brick. The upper floor contains two original 18th-century sash windows with glazing bars, one restored sash window with bars, and a bricked-up window recess. The ground floor features three 18th-century tripartite sash windows framed by 19th-century square mouldings above, and one modern window has been inserted.
