Description

Mount Pleasant is a building dating from around 1720, consisting of two parallel ranges. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys, an attic, and a basement. The roof is tiled and features three hipped dormers. A wooden eaves cornice and a brick stringcourse add to its architectural detail. The first floor has three sashes with intact glazing bars. Access to the building is via a doorcase that is reached by six steps, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a wide flat hood.
