Description
The stables, located about 3.5 metres north of The Rose and Crown Inn, date from the 19th century. The front elevation is constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond, while the right gable end and rear are weatherboarded. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys tall, featuring a gabled design with brick gable-end stacks. The fenestration is irregular, with two two-light casements positioned to the left of centre. There are ventilation grilles on the ground floor and a boarded first-floor door to the right of centre. The rear elevation, facing the courtyard, includes two three-light casements and a boarded first-floor door. The ground floor has three paned windows and three stable doors. Additionally, there is a single-storey weatherboarded range extending east from the north side of the courtyard, which has a plain-tile gable roof, two windows, and three stable doors. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
