Description

26 Moat Sole is a 17th century Dutch brick building featuring a steep pitched tiled roof, which has been entirely plastered in the early 19th century. The facade is designed to mimic stone. It has a timber cornice supported by grouped console brackets. The upper window sash includes glazing bars that create 16 squares, while the first floor window consists of a complete sliding sash with fixed lights on either side. The ground floor window has plate glass and is modern. The entrance features a six-panel door with the upper two panels glazed, flanked by pilasters grouped as three reeds, along with an entablature and cornice.
