Description

Preston House is a mid-18th century building located on the east side of High Street. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows, with one blocked window space in the center. The structure is made of red brick, and the parapet and upper part were rebuilt in the 19th century. It has brick architraves over the ground and first floor windows, with glazing bars intact only on the top floor. A small round-headed recess is situated in the center between the first and second floor windows. The doorway is adorned with pilasters and has a flat hood supported by brackets shaped like winged griffins. It also features a rectangular fanlight and a six-panel fielded door.
