Description

Devon House is an 18th-century building located on the east side of Middle Street. It is two storeys high and has a stuccoed exterior with a tiled roof featuring two dormers, one of which is hipped. The building has a wide wooden cornice with modillions and two sash windows that retain their glazing bars. The entrance features a double doorcase with a moulded architrave. Number 84 has a modern bow window set at an angle on the ground floor, while number 86 has a modern double-hung sash window on the ground floor. Devon House is part of a group with numbers 82 to 96 (even).
