Description

Laurel House comprises two adjacent properties, Nos. 35 and 36, on the south-east side of High Street, Sturry. No. 36 is an 18th-century house, while No. 35 has a mid-19th-century extension.

No. 35 is a two-storey building with painted brickwork and a tiled roof. It features two sash windows with simple vertical glazing, and a later ground-floor bay. No. 36 is also two storeys, with painted brick and a hipped tiled roof. It has three altered windows and a brick modillion cornice. A central doorcase has a flat hood supported by brackets and pilasters, panelled reveals, and a six-panel door with the top four panels cut away and glazed.
