Nos 39 and 40 on High Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall, constructed of painted brick resting on a stuccoed plinth. The roof is hipped at one end and covered with tiles. The façade features four sash windows with intact glazing bars, and there is a simple doorcase.
