Description
Kenfield Hall is a mansion originally built around 1730. It has two storeys and attics, constructed from plum and russet brick, topped with a hipped tiled roof and featuring a wooden modillion eaves cornice. The glazing bars are intact. The main façade faces north and includes seven windows, with the three central window bays projecting and topped by a pediment that contains a round-headed attic window. There is a brick stringcourse and a central doorcase adorned with fluted pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a pediment. The wings of the building each have two windows and one pedimented dormer. To the north-west, there is a long wing added in 1909, which has seven windows that match the original style. The east front features three windows and three dormers, while the south front has five windows and three dormers. The west front also has three windows and three dormers, and it includes a doorway that serves as the main entrance, featuring pilasters, a curved shell-headed hood, and six-fielded panel doors, accessed by four steps.
