Description
Well Court is a late 16th century timber-framed building that has been refaced in red brick. It stands two storeys high and features a hipped tiled roof with a stringcourse. The building has casement windows, with two facing south and four facing west. The angle of the L shape has been filled in during the 19th century with red brick and a slate roof. The entrance has a simple doorcase. Inside, the building showcases exposed beams, a fireback dated 1671, and an inglenook fireplace with a wooden beam above and plain spandrels, which are also likely from the late 16th century.
