Description

The Church of St Cosmus and St Damian is a 13th-century church with significant alterations from 1866. It is constructed of flint with stone quoins and has tiled roofs. The church consists of a chancel and nave, with a bell gable at the west end, a north aisle, and a south porch. The chancel and nave date to the 13th century and retain later windows. The north aisle and south porch were added in 1866. The nave has a crown post roof. The churchyard contains 18th-century headstones, some featuring skull, cherub, or cherub and trumpet motifs, along with 19th-century oval headstones.
