Description

Forge House, dated 1736, is a two-storey building constructed of red brick with a tiled roof that features a gable end supported by kneelers. It has a moulded brick eaves cornice and a stringcourse. The façade includes two sashes with intact glazing bars and a doorcase topped with a flat hood. A shield inscribed with "T A 1736" is also present. To the south-west, there is a one-storey extension that is partly brick and partly weatherboarded, also with a tiled roof and casement windows. This extension was formerly the village forge.
