Description
The Church of St John the Baptist is a stone cruciform building, originally a Chapel of Ease to Bishopsbourne Church until 1846. The chancel and transept date to the late 13th century, likely constructed by the same mason who worked on the chancel of Bishopsbourne Church. A 14th-century tower is located to the west. The church features crown post roofs. The north and west porch tower is topped with a broached copper spire.
