Description

West Hoy Farmhouse is a 15th-century Wealden house. It has two storeys with close-studding and plaster infilling. The first floor of the end window bays projects over the ends of the floor joists, supported by brackets. The eaves of the central section are coved and overhang on brackets, with a curved brace at the west end. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered with tiles. The house features four casement windows and an 18th-century doorcase with a flat hood above and a low rectangular fanlight. Additionally, there is a window opening with a wooden grille at the west end of the ground floor.
